PROFESSIONAL PROFILE

As leader & project manager on several key projects. Manuel Ray has been responsible for coordination of design, inspection, and construction administration of projects of importance. The experience ensures close attention to the element of constructability of the design & construction phases as administrator, manager, designer, inspector & contractor of projects.

As Authorized Professional, he can work out and emit OGPe Construction & Use Permits for projects that comply with zoning. Environmental categorical exclusion for projects that quality, and fire prevention & health certificates for all types of projects.

As a green project inspector, he can perform the required visits to green projects, report to the government and certify the project for certificate of occupancy and use permit.

As expert witness on construction contract disputes, safety, codes & standards issues, he has been able to serve both, plaintiff’s or defendant’s stances in important cases, at the federal or local court.

Through the years, he has been asked to give lectures to the graduating class of the university of Puerto Rico Mayaguez Campus; continued education courses for professional engineers & architects at the CIAPR, the 2010 PR AIA Convention and at American University, PR. Topics related to permitting, design & construction management, environment & green issues, urban planning, codes & standards, and professional liability.

Registered Architect in Florida and Puerto Rico with 19 years of experience providing services in design, construction project management, quality control, construction claims services, facility safety assessment, hazardous materials abatement, retrofitting, and post occupancy evaluations (POE).
 
Planned, developed and managed multi-million- dollar projects of all scopes ranging from governmental/institutional, hospitality, commercial, laboratories/medical facilities, historic preservation, private developments and TOD; by means of various delivery methods as design-build and CM.
 
Head Designer and project planner for UPR and Magüeyes Island Marine Science & Research Station, Oceanography Laboratories and pier at Magüeyes Island for NOAA – CRESS.

Maritere Rovira Calimano

Architect

Graduated from Louisiana State University with a professional degree in Architecture. Mrs. Rovira has vast experience in interiors and furniture design-build, with projects located in many of the major hotels on the island, including AC Marriot, Condado Plaza and Ritz-Carlton. Collaborated in design projects like La Ventana al Mar in Condado and Parque Luis Muñoz Rivera. Lead Project Manager for the Hotel San Juan current renovations. Responsible for the Interior Design of Club Lounge, General Manager’s Apartment and Public Areas Furniture, Fixtures and Equipment selection at the Intercontinental Hotel. Lead interior designer for MedCentro Healthcare System’s new executive, administrative, accounting and telemedicine offices. Experienced in project management and post-disaster building safety evaluation. Developed complete field assessments of damages caused by Hurricane Maria for El San Juan Hotel, and Intercontinental Hotel.

Alexandra Betancourt

Architect

Registered Architect in Puerto Rico with 14 years of experience providing services for projects of various scales from the design phase through construction completion. Projects include large scale Municipal buildings and parks, commercial buildings and private design projects. Experienced in Historic Preservation Projects, including Construction Documents and Construction administration, as inspections for compliance with federal historic standards.
 
Mrs. Betancourt was also part of the team of designers responsible for Muelle 3 and contributed into the Construction Documents Phase of Muelle Panamericano I & II.

Erwin Riefkohl Hernández

AIA, CAAPPR

Architect

Registered architect in Florida and Puerto Rico with 10 years of experience in the industry. Has worked in world class Healthcare projects including the Miami Cardiac and Vascular Institute and the Miami Transplant Institute. Experienced in complex and large-scale developments with 800+ units in New York city. Trained by world leading medical planners and Heath care designers. Earned a master’s in architecture and health; a unique Healthcare design program. Participated in more than 20 hospital projects, many well over the 10- million-dollar mark. His work has impacted almost every hospital department from outpatient clinics to transplant ORS and Cath Labs. Earned construction field experience as quality Control specialist, Project Manager for Federal Projects for the FAA and Volunteers of America. Lead designer in the reconstruction of American University, Bayamon and Manatí campus.

Gabriela De Jesús Navia

CAAPPR

Architect

Graduated from University of Puerto Rico, Río Piedras Campus, with a Master’s degree in Architecture and Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Design. She has worked with private commercial, hospitality, and public projects. Gabriela has covered a range of phases throughout various projects by being involved in architectural design, interior design, urban planning, post-disaster rehabilitation, landscaping and other disciplines. Has wide experience using softwares such as Autocad, Revit, & Sketchup and bringing projects to life through Photoshop, Illustrator, Lumion, Enscape & Twinmotion for renderings.

De Jesús’ featured works include Condado Plaza Hotel, Sugarcane Gastro-Bar, Plaza Ramón Emeterio Betánces, FARMEDICAL, Biesek Development Hotel, among others.

Denys Omar Arriaga

Civil Engineer

Graduated from University of Puerto Rico, Mayagüez Campus, with a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and master’s degree certifications in Construction Management, Project Management, and Environmental Engineering. Arriaga had been certified as Low Impact Development Inspector by the United States Army Corp of Engineers. He has experience in Construction and Green Inspections using LEED requirements. Arriaga has also been involved in civil and structural engineering designs, storm and sanitary sewer designs, as well as grading. Has developed automatizations using apps and/or software for math and rendering models. With a wide experience in Revit, Autocad, Autocad Civil 3D, and Microsoft Office programs, his works have been featured in projects such as Mayagüez Waterfront Industrial Subdivision Reconstruction, Residence Inn by Marriot and Royal Sonesta Hotel, among others.

Henry Bello Batista

Civil Engineer

Graduated from University of Puerto Rico, Mayagüez Campus with bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering. He has over five years of experience in construction and inspection. Bello has also been involved in Civil Engineering designs, such as well as storm and sanitary sewer designs; gradings, and developing automatizations using apps and/or software for math and rendering models. Has a wide experience in Autocad, Autocad Civil 3D, and Microsoft Office programs. His work have been featured in projects such as Mayagüez Waterfront Industrial Subdivision, Residence Inn by Marriot, among others.

Luis Alfredo Maldonado

Senior Draftsman

Licenced draftsman since 1994, Luis Alfredo has vast experience in architectural drawings, dominating programs such as AutoCad, Revit, Photoshop and SketchUp among others. In addition to his professional education in drafting, he also has a major in interior design. He works on all phases of design, up to developing final construction documents and providing support through construction administration. Mr. Maldonado has worked with prominent architecture and engineering firms throughout his career, making him a great asset for our team.

Jonathan Garcia

Draftsman

Graduated with honors from Liceo de Arte of Puerto Rico. Has over 24 years of experience working with prominent architecture and engineering firms. Wide knowledge of drafting and modeling programs, such as AutoCad, Civil 3D, Revit, and Sketchup, among others.

Alondra Torres

Draftsman

Alondra possesses an associate degree in drafting from El Liceo de Arte y Tecnología de Puerto Rico. She is experienced in computer drawing programs such as Autocad and various 3d modeling programs. Torres also performs as built and electrical drawings.

Armando Rivera

Intern-Architecture Student

He is currently working towards his professional bachelor’s degree in architecture at the Polytechnic University of Puerto Rico. With experience in computer programs such as Autocad, Revit & Rhinoceros, and 3D modeling and rendering programs, such as Sketchup and Twinmotion. Rivera also performs and implements the use of technology, such as aerial drone, at as-builts and inspections in projects such as Dorado Beach East, American University, Cancha Francisco (Pancho) Padilla, among others.

Gisela Manteiga

Intern-Architecture Student

Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Design to subsequently pursue a Master’s degree in Architecture. Experienced in programs like AutoCad, Photoshop, Illustrator, Twinmotion, Sketchup, and Vray. Has been part of organizations such as the National Honor Society and Cáritas Parroquial. Manteiga is also skilled in research and investigation. Works with 3mg as an architect assistant in several architectural projects, including American University, private high-end residential projects, private commercial and hospitality projects.

Ricardo Quiñones

Master electrician, with 33 years of experience. Construction and restoration inspector since 2008 in electrical, mechanical and civil disciplines. Has worked on projects like St. Regis Bahia Beach Resort, El Conquistador Hotel, Ritz-Carlton Hotel and Luis Muñoz Marín Airport among others.
